Waddington Brown is a small, boutique HR recruitment consultancy that has built a solid reputation for providing a first-class service to both its candidates and clients. The team members are all highly experienced recruitment professionals who take great pride in offering a personal yet highly professional service by delivering a true consultancy approach. Waddington Brown is not a recruitment consultancy that is target driven but instead concentrates on developing quality long-term relationships with HR professionals across the East Anglian geography.

Helen Timmons – Co-Founder and Director

With over 15 years experience in the recruitment industry, Helen Timmons was a co-founder of Waddington Brown. Having seen first-hand quality being compromised for the sake of achieving volume, both Helen and co-founder Emma Gunton felt strongly there had to be ‘another way’.

Waddington Brown was therefore formed to provide a recruitment consultancy with a difference. The business is founded on ‘honesty, integrity and delivering professional judgement’, combined with the confidence to offer a transparent service to clients.

Helen has an active hands-on role within the consultancy, placing and sourcing candidates across the East Anglian region.

Prior to establishing the HR recruitment business, Helen worked with Hays Specialist Recruitment as a Regional Director. Helen has a degree in business studies from the Thames Valley University.

Emma Gunton – Co-Founder and Director

Prior to co-founding Waddington Brown, Emma Gunton spent ten years with Hays Specialist Recruitment where her role culminated to Regional Director. Emma also spent almost four years with Ford Motor Company as a trainee accountant, qualifying as a Chartered Management Accountant by the age of 22.

At Waddington Brown, Emma provides daily client consultancy and candidate liaison, in addition to overseeing the business development operations.

Stephanie Harris – Senior Consultant

Stephanie Harris joined Waddington Brown as a senior consultant following 9 years with Hays Specialist Recruitment where she worked across East Anglia. Prior to this, she worked in management with one of Australia’s leading retailers and held associate roles with international executive search firms, Amrop International and Russell Reynolds Associates. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Information) from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Stephanie has her own portfolio of clients and candidates and in addition she leads our research work across the region, liaising with external suppliers to source appropriate tools to support the recruitment process e.g psychometrics etc.

Eithne Sanders – Consultant

As a skilled recruitment and HR professional with over 12 years’ experience, Eithne Sanders is responsible for supporting clients and candidates located in the Cambridgeshire region.

Prior to joining Waddington Brown, Eithne spent five years as a principal resource specialist for Alexander Mann Solutions, where she was responsible for the regional end-to-end recruitment services for several specialist areas within the business. She has also held HR and recruitment roles at Littlewoods Shop Direct Group and Co-Operative Financial Services and is qualified via the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
